Is waxing painful?

There's discomfort — we won't pretend otherwise. But most clients are surprised by how manageable it is, especially compared to what they expected. It gets easier with each visit as the hair grows back finer.

How long does the hair need to be?

At least ¼ inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you've been shaving, we recommend waiting 2–3 weeks before your first appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before (not the day of). Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid tanning, retinoids, or exfoliating acids for at least 48 hours before. Skip lotion on the day of your visit.

How long will results last?

Most clients stay smooth for 3–5 weeks. With regular waxing the regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time.

What should I avoid after my appointment?

For 24–48 hours after: no hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms. Avoid sun exposure, tight clothing, and heavy exercise. Skip fragranced products on the treated area.
